In this session you'll learn how to install OpenBSD 4.4 on a PC (i386) computer, VMware and Parallels virtual machines, and Soekris embedded devices. Topics discussed during this session will include:

  • obtaining OpenBSD
  • preparing installation media and servers (FTP, HTTP, PXE)
  • customizing the installation process
  • installing OpenBSD
  • installing OpenBSD on a machine without a monitor or keyboard
  • installing OpenBSD on a Soekris embedded computer
